Feedback exists to help neighbours make decisions. It does not exist as a weapon and it is not a marketplace where Pin owners pay to make negative feedback disappear. The Feedback Policy defines what counts as feedback (signed identity, scoped to a real interaction, factual or experiential), how it is weighted, how contested feedback is handled, and how Map.ca responds to coordinated brigading and extortion attempts.
It applies to anyone giving feedback, anyone receiving feedback, and to Map.ca’s anti-manipulation reviewers. Pin owners get a response right; reviewers get a contested-feedback path; bad actors get the door.

Prohibitions
- Do not allow extortion of Pin owners through threatened or actual feedback.
- Do not allow anonymous mass downvotes to determine Pin ranking.
- Do not let feedback become a tool for retaliation.
- Do not sell removal of negative feedback.
