Master Ambassadors are how Map.ca shows up in communities that the platform cannot serve alone. The Ambassador Outreach Policy defines the scope of the role (community page building, local onboarding, partner introductions), the authority it carries (verified-role display, access to ambassador-only tools), the boundaries (no commercial advantage from the role, no override of community wishes in their region), and the conflict-of-interest disclosure required of ambassadors with commercial interests in their region.
It applies to Master Ambassadors, community organizations they work with, Map.ca’s community team, and any ambassador-adjacent program. Mike’s own Master Ambassador role at Map.ca is bound by this policy and its conflict-of-interest disclosure.
